Me and 80+ blog buddies got together to bring you 80+ DIY Halloween costumes, including an Easy Baby or Toddler Egg Costume! I’m teaming up with Jamie Dorobek and her handmade Halloween costume site, Really Awesome Costumes to bring y’all tons of easy ideas to craft up DIY Halloween costumes for everyone including your pets, family costumes, and even a trunk or treat idea!
Along with my Baby or Toddler Egg Costume, I’m sharing 88+ more really awesome handmade costume ideas from talented bloggers everywhere!
This is just pretty exciting and fun to be here with all these talented bloggers and sharing so many costume ideas. I hope it helps when deciding who should be what for Halloween. I normally go for costumes that are of the easy variety. Especially for babies and toddlers. Their costumes don’t need to be super elaborate, but it is fun to dress them up. Try this easy and inexpensive egg costume.
What you will need for this egg costume:
- Yellow Felt
- white onsie or white tee and leggings or sweatpants
To create the yolk trace a salad plate on the yellow felt. Cut out the circle. Hot glue the yolk to the tummy of the onsie or shirt.
If you want this costume to not be permanent use duct tape to attach the yolk.
Or for a more cute look stitch the yolk onto the onsie or shirt.
Dress up your babe and it’s just that easy. Dress mom or dad up as a chicken for a fun play on this costume.
