Dear Lizzy Fifth & Frolic Debut!!!
I am so excited to share with you a lovely new line available at JoAnn’s! Dear Lizzy Fifth & Frolic features crisp blues, pinks, greens, yellows and airy neutrals with hints of gold. It is perfect for spring. I had soo much fun creating these projects to share with you.
Find out more about the designer Liz Kartchner here. And check out more of the amazing line here. Or just pop into Joann’s ASAP (the line just came out yesterday)!!! You won’t want to miss it.
First Project: Spring Frames
I had some old frames hanging around and I just lined them with these adorable scrapbook papers. There are soo many to choose plus they are double sided, always an added bonus.
What I like best about these frames is they work for Easter and/or Spring decor and could even last all the way to Summer.
In this frame, I used the gold glitter tape, burlap bows and large decorative tags.
The second frame uses two different tags, sweet brads and the gold glitter tape. The glitter tape is one of my favorite things. I have a bit of a tape fetish (don’t ask how many rolls of washi tape I have). You know I love me some good glitter, so let’s do the math: glitter + tape = awesomeness!!!!! = LOVE
Another one of the lovely things in the Dear Lizzy Fifth and Frolic line is this adorable pendant garland. It is tiny but goes a long way. I paired it with the decorative tags and it came out beautifully.
These color combinations just make me happy looking at them.
Second Project: Calendar Embellishment & Spring Bird Magnets
That pedant garland looks great on my calendar. I also used some more of the paper and made some bird magnets to add a spring touch for March.
To make the these bird magnets I just used a sticker maker to attach the paper to a magnet sheet and cut out the birds using my Cricut. Easy. Fun. Spring.
The glitter paper is fabulous. I don’t know how they made it soo beautiful, it is smooth and sparkly. Total BLING.
The pendant garland just pulls out of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper with a pattern on each side.
Third Project: Place Cards
Lastly, with Easter just around the corner these springy colors will add a pop to any table setting. They were so easy to create too. Just use the Thickers letters on top of one of the patterned paper and top it off with the embellished brads.
If glitter tape wasn’t enough, I am drooling over these glitter Thickers letters.
Can you believe that is a brad with the pink heart. Love it and it is fabric covered. I love the texture and dimension it adds to the place card.
I hope you are as much in love with this line as I am.
