I will admit it. I am a bit of a hoarder. You never know when you might need that shirt that you haven’t worn for a year, or any sort of craft supply, but I am trying to change my ways. Now that Miss JJ has joined the family, I’ve realized how much I don’t need so much crap, or that I can repurpose it. As I’ve gone through my drawers I’ve got a lot of t-shirts that I am over wearing, but could be used in a different way. Luckily, my cute friend Adrianne Surian of Happy Hour Projects has a new book out called DIY T-Shirt Crafts!
Check out all these cute ways she has repurposed t-shirts.
Plus, there are so many more great ideas in her book. What I love about these ideas is that they are quick, easy and use a t-shirt. So creative and who doesn’t have a couple t-shirts hanging around that can be recycled.
The ideas were so fun that I knew I had to try one out. I decide to make draped vest. Check out the before and after!
Seriously, this was a super quick transformation. I need crafts like that these days, because Miss JJ is keeping me pretty busy. It is also awesome that I have a new look from a t-shirt I was considering throwing out anyway. Win, win!
