I introduced the Extreme Book Nerd Challenge a bit ago. I’m excited to keep the book reviews coming. Here is the next book I read for the challenge.

Extreme Book Nerd Challenge Category: A Ghost Story
I was really looking forward to reading this book after reading The Wings Series by the same author, but I really struggled to finish it. If it hadn’t been for the Extreme Book Nerd Challenge, I probably wouldn’t have finished it. Basically a rich girl kleptomaniac can’t move on after she passes away. No one can see her, until a boy moves to her area. He can see her and helps her move on.
I choose this book for the category because I wanted a light and funny ghost story rather than a scary ghost story. But I felt that the author was trying really had to fit in with the young adult demographic, by using quite a bit of profanity and inappropriate scenes. I know that is probably how many high schools are, but I like to see authors raise the standard a bit. If you are looking for something in the young adult realm that is an easy, light read, try The Wings Series instead.
