Free Printable Thanksgiving Don’t Eat Pete Game Board
Let’s have some fun this holiday season with this free printable Thanksgiving Don’t Eat Pete game board.
Sometimes poor Thanksgiving gets glossed over like a middle sibling between Halloween and Christmas. I’m trying not to skip over it and it’s fine if you are already decorated for Christmas, but pause and have a little bit of Thanksgiving fun this year with this printable Thanksgiving Don’t Eat Pete game board. All you have to do is add small candies of your choice.
This game could entertain kids and other guests while putting the finishing touches on a beautiful thanksgiving dinner. Or after as something to do do while waiting for pie.
I used Skittles, but M&M’s or other small candies could work. If you want to go bigger grab some Hershey’s Kisses or Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Cups.
Thanksgiving Don’t Eat Pete Instructions
Place a piece of candy on each of the thanksgiving images on the printable. Send one person out of the room. Everyone left in the room picks one of the images to be “Pete.” Call the person back into the room. They start to remove the candies one at a time. Keeping the ones they remove until they try to take “Pete.” As they try to take “Pete”, yell “Don’t Eat Pete!” Replace “Pete” on the board. When they try to take “Pete” the round is over. The chooser keeps the candies they removed before getting “Pete.” Refill the board and send the next person out. Pick a new “Pete” on the board. Play until all the candy is gone!!! Or until everyone has had a turn.
