Both are good, although my vote generally goes to the churro, today I’m sharing my delicious recipe for heart-shaped beignets with chocolate gravy sauce.   2. Add eggs and oil to the yeast mixture and whisk to incorporate.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt to the mixture, mixing until there is no more dry flour to form soft dough. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for one hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
  4. Once the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into two pieces and roll each piece out to ¼ inch thickness using a rolling pin.
  5. Using a 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the dough. Continue shaping and rolling the dough until you have cut out all the hearts.
