Plantation Ham and Pinwheels Recipe
Plantation Ham and Pinwheels
Plantation Ham and Pinwheels is one of my favorite meals my mother made when I was in high school. I love them so much my mom made them for me when we brought Miss JJ home from the hospital. They are a yummy comfort food that comes together really quickly. Another plus is you can use up extra ham with this recipe.
All you need to do is whip up the biscuit mix, roll and place in the sauce mixture. After about 10 minutes of prep, pop these pinwheels in the oven and wait patiently until the timer dings.
I mean don’t they look so yummy! If you want to make a complete meal out of this, add a veggie side or salad. Or get creative and add some veggies to the sauce mix. Then just watch the kids devour the pinwheels.
The parsley is another great touch in this recipe. It adds color and flavor the these biscuits. Be sure to dunk the biscuits in the gravy and add some ham to each bite. I need to make these more ofter for sure.
