About Me
Hi, I’m Emily. I am a mom, wife, reader, crafter, and traveler. I am an Idaho girl at heart. I love to read, shop, craft and try my hand at DIY. I am not a professional by any means, I just want to share with you my good ideas, tips and mistakes. I hope you have fun stopping by.
Why did I start this blog you ask. After graduating from college and working for a couple of years, I needed to find an outlet for my creative juices and a way to learn new things. Not only is it an outlet, it is motivation. It helps me to get my projects done, share my ideas and connect with friends.
As I had my two kids, I continued to work on this blog. I later became a single mom for a time and stepped away for a bit from blogging to pursue a career as a Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant. I still help out other small online business owners with my virtual assisting services, but I am now bring my attention back to this blog and sharing all things seasonal. I love printables and holidays. We all love to eat too, right? So I’ll be sharing my favorite recipes too.
I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a minor in communications. I have continued to learn through trial and error. I have been blogging and working online for over 10 years now. I have attended conferences, taken courses, and self-taught myself so many things. I love to make holidays and everyday special for my kids and family, but I love to do it easily. Using my printer I am able to provide a lot of holiday and seasonal magic through my printables.
