Meet this Mormon {Meet the Mormons Premier}

We belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints otherwise known as “The Mormons”. We are proud of this part of who we are! We are excited to team up with over 65+ of us strong… to extend an invitation to see a film. A film entitled “Meet The Mormons”. This film is not meant to be an “in your face” – you must join our church film. It is simply designed and produced to uplift and inspire you through six stories of those of our faith who have followed promptings to follow Christ more fully in their lives. We hope you take the opportunity to enjoy this film. We hope your hearts are made light as you feel the goodness that comes from following our Christ and Savior. All proceeds from the film will be donated to The American Red Cross. So not only will you be uplifted and inspired, your money will be going to an amazing charity!!

We also would like to take a moment and share our personal testimonies, stories of our own personal conversions, and our own stories of how following our Savior, Jesus Christ has changed our lives. The light of the gospel of Jesus Christ offers a joy and hope that only following him can provide. Hey Guys! You know I’m Emily, but did you know I’m a Mormon.

Why am I a Mormon?

Have you ever felt that something is so true or correct, but you might not know why you feel that way? This is what the gospel is for me. Before I came to this earth I knew of Christ and his gospel. While learning of the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints I felt this way. They were things that were familiar and true. When I have felt this spirit so strong I could not deny it. Beyond just the feelings I have had, there is so much more when seeing the church in action.

There is so much love and service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. The church truly models itself after the teachings of Jesus Christ. Whatever Jesus would do is how the church acts now. When there is a natural disaster or other calamity, the church is normally there lending help and support. This is same on an individual level, members of the church strive to reach out and help those in need around them. This may be spiritually, physically, emotional etc.

The combine power of my feelings of the truthfulness of the gospel and the works of the church have prompted me to be a part of this great church. I know that it is true, I hope that you will also take the opportunity to know for yourself by reading The Book of Mormon and taking the challenge found in Moroni 10:4-5.

I know that life isn’t easy for anyone. We each have our own burdens to bear, but I know that I can bear the hardships of my life because of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I know because, I lean on him I can make it through these hard times and so can each of you. Through his atonement, he has felt all that we have. Each of us is loved.
