Burlap Flower and Ribbon Thanksgiving Napkin Ring
Hey it’s Emily from The Benson Street. Don’t you love November? I love that it is still fall, but with less of the Halloween stuff. Just pure fall. It also means Thanksgiving is coming up, another one of my favorites. I especially love putting together a beautiful table. You know place cards, centerpieces and these beautiful burlap flower and ribbon Thanksgiving napkin rings. These are simple to make but look stunning on a table setting.
Supplies list:
- Burlap Flowers
- Plaid Ribbon
- Feathers
- Elastic
- Hot glue and hot glue gun
- Felt
Star by cutting out a circle about the size of the flower. Cut out a piece of the plaid ribbon about 12 inches long. Place a dot of hot glue in the center of the felt circle.
Stick the plaid ribbon to the glue. Add a dab of glue on top of that ribbon.
Twist the ribbon to make loop and stick it into the glue.
Place another dab of glue on the cross of the plaid ribbon.
Stick two feathers into the glue and put a larger amount of glue on the center.
Stick the burlap flower on top of the glue.
Cut a piece of elastic about three inches (make shorter or longer depending on the thickness of napkins).
Place a dap of glue on one side of the felt circle.
Stick the elastic into the glue and place a dab of glue on the other side.
Allow the glue to dry before using.
Doesn’t it look beautiful and elegant? I love the plaid.
Roll up or fold napkins and place the napkin ring around the napkin.
What a simple way to make something look perfect for a stunning tablescape for Thanksgiving.
