As a new mom, I have not been able to spend the same amount of time on getting ready as a I used too. I use to take my time. Do my hair, makeup and enjoy it. Now it is a race. I am amazed at how quickly I can actually get ready (although I’ve added some shortcuts). I want to share with you some ways to cut down your beauty routine with some hot on the go mom beauty products!
I love the look of a gel manicure, but I don’t have the time to go sit in a salon and get it done. I have to sneak in my manicure time when my little one is in bed. This Gel Look Top Coat is perfect because there is no UV light required, SCORE!
While on bed rest, I watched a lot of TV, and I mean a lot. When you watch TV all day the advertisements really work (at least on me they do). I kept seeing this Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow and knew I had to have it! Guess what I love it. It is so easy to have a light neutral eyeshadow pallet. It is quick and easy to put on, plus you can use a variety of the colors together in different ways.
Another great thing to quickly refresh, is a face mask. Sometimes it is the little things that you can do for yourself that make a tired mom feel human again. Slap on one of these mango masks and watch an episode of Gilmore Girls on Netflix, ahhh relaxing.
Rough night getting the kids to bed? Or are you just so tired from running after them all day? Don’t skip washing your face completely use a cleansing wipe to clean up your face from the long day.
No time to get a full makeup look together? Throw on the essentials, foundation, mascara and some lipgloss. The pop of color is sure to liven up your face and while the foundation evens your skin tone.
Babies love to chew on things! I pretty much have given up on necklaces, but I found this cute teething necklace while shopping cyber Monday sales. It is adorable and safe for baby to chew on. If you don’t love this style there are lots of teething necklaces to choose from.
No time to work on your hair? Use yesterday’s curls and a head wrap to keep your tresses looking decent. Or pop in a ponytail and add the wrap for a cute detail.
Speaking of ponytails, they are definitely a saving grace around here. It has taken me years to get my hair long and healthy. I am not anywhere near ready to give it up quite yet just to keep it out of my little one’s hands. So I use pretty hair ties to jazz it up a bit. It gives the illusion that you tried harder than you did to get ready!
What are your favorite on the go mom beauty products? Anything I can get to help me out is much appreciated!!!
