Easy Lemon Sugar Scrub
I have a confession to make. My hands are dry! I mean DRY. With all this long lasting winter weather they are experiencing, it isn’t pretty. They need some help. So I have found some exploitation and moisture go a long way. This easy lemon sugar scrub helps restore my dry hands. Great news, you can make it at home!!!
- Olive Oil
- Sugar
- Lemon Essential Oil (this is great to get rid of kitchen smells on your hands too)
- Cute Mason Jars
To Make Easy Lemon Sugar Scrub: Mix 2 cups of sugar with 1 cup of oil. Add lemon essential oil to your liking. I added 10 to 15 drops. My vial only gave a tiny drop. Just smell and adjust it to your liking.
Divide among mason jars. Print these cute tags below. Tie with baker’s twine and a fun paper lid cover (fabric would be cute too). Hand them out to your bff’s. They are a great thank you idea, visiting teaching gift, or just to let someone know you are thinking of them.
To use easy lemon sugar scrub: Wet hands and use a teaspoon of scrub to rub all over hands. Rinse with warm water. Pat Dry. While hands are still damp follow with your favorite lotion. With slightly wet hands lotion will absorb better.
I am in love with these squatty mason jars. They are perfect for this easy lemon sugar scrub.

Hi Emily, I made this sugar scrub for some friends as a christmas gift and just wanted to know how long you can keep it for.
Thanks
I know this is an old post but hoping you are still checking comments!!!
I am wondering how much scrub this recipe actually makes??
I am looking to adapt the recipe for an event where I will be giving everyone 2 oz containers to make their own versions, so I need to be able to re-calculate the ingredients for a 2 oz recipe.
Any info/help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
If I remember correctly, It makes a small mason jar full. So about and a half or a cup.
