I Heart Nail Polish: Cinderella Inspired Nails

I’m pretty sure I’m a Disney Princess at heart. My favorite movies still include Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Tangled, etc. I love them all! I probably shouldn’t play dress up anymore now that I’m over the age of 20, so I decided Disney Princess Inspired Nail Art was just the ticket to add a little dress up into my life. I’m kicking off the princess inspired nail art with my favorite! Cinderella Inspired Nails!!! 

My mom tells me that I used to want to watch Cinderella all day long. I must have because I have the movie memorized. I am so excited to channel the beauty and simplicity of Cinderella in this nail art tutorial.

Plus, since it is Valentine’s I want to share with you something I love. I heart nail polish! And some of my awesome friends are sharing things they “heart” too. Check them out at the end of the post after you’ve checked out this beautiful nail art. 

I used two different blues for this tutorial. The first is a light baby blue with a shimmer from Forever 21 (Love & Beauty Polish Light Blue). For the sparkly highlight I used Sally Hansen’s Gem Crush in Blingtastic.

I love how these colors capture the essence of Cinderella! A little bit of sparkle and some simplicity.

I painted all the nails with two coats of the light blue. Let each coat dry in between. This is the hardest part for me. I am always super impatient, but waiting is truly worth it. Finish off  the look off with a little bling. 

Paint each ring finger nail with the gem crush. It puts the finishing polish on the look. It is just a quick and easy as Bibbidi–Bobbidi–Boo!
