I am loving how beautiful the sun is looking outside these days. Over the weekend I decided I needed a new spring makeup look because I am one of those people who gets into makeup ruts. You know I just do my makeup the same every single day because it is easier to just keep doing the same thing, rather than trying something new. I headed out to Walgreens and found some makeup that can easily change up my normal everyday makeup routine.
I love walking down the beauty aisle at Walgreens. There is so much color and so many things I want to try out. It was really fun when I went out on Saturday because there were samples to try, a beauty associate sharing information and tons of sales. I got to try out some new products and saved some money too. I got a lot of great things to create an awesome spring makeup look. It is so easy and natural.
These are the goodies I found:
- Baby Lips Chapstick by Maybelline in Pink Punch (gives moisture and color)
- Expert Wear Eyeshadow by Maybelline in Crown Jewels (it make is easy to know where to put each color)
- The Colossal Volum’ Express by Maybelline in Glam Black (my all time favorite mascara get it in waterproof)
- Exaggerate Eye Definer by Rimmel in Sable (this liner is waterproof, love that)
Here is a little before look to compare to the after.
Now for the after. A Natural Beauty Spring Makeup Look. My little secret: it is so easy!
I love how easy it is to take a couple minutes to create an easy spring makeup look. Here is how I got the look.
Start by doing your regular base makeup. I use a moisturizer, foundation and concealer. Then follow it up with a powder finish and a light blush.
To start the eyes, fill in the eyebrows. So important!!! I love how much better my brows look when I’ve filled them in. By filling in the eyebrows it frames the face giving the look a more finished effect..
Using makeup brushes sweep the base color (lightest color) from the eyelash line to just below the eyebrow.
Second, brush the lid from they eyelash line to just below the crease with the mid tone color.
Third, sweep a small amount of the darkest color through the crease.
Lastly, sweep a clean brush over the lid to blend the colors.
Follow up the eyeshadow with the sable eyeliner. Line the top lid along the eyelashes across the entire eye. Then repeat on the bottom lash line. Using the other end of the Exaggerate Eye Definer and smudge the eyeliner up towards the lashes on the bottom to give it a more subtle look.
Apply two coats of the Colossal Volum’ Express mascara and the look is almost complete.
Finish the look with the Baby Lips. The pink and purple compliment the look well. Easy yet natural. I never wear anything but chapstick so it was great to find the Baby Lips. I already love it. I’ve been wearing it all weekend. It is perfect for me.
I love this awesome look! If you are looking for more awesome looks and ideas check out Walgreen’s Beauty Deals.
