Air Fryer Apple Pie Bites

How to make a quick and easy fall dessert in your air fryer that is just like a mini bite of apple pie!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon *
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg *
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice *
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves *
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger *
  • 1 can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
  • 1 cup apple pie filling- chopped into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter- melted

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the sugar, 1 1⁄2 teaspoons of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ground cloves, and ginger. Set that aside.
  • Open the can of the biscuits and pull all 8 biscuits out. On a parchment-lined cutting board pull each biscuit in half creating 16 biscuits.
  • Take each biscuit, one at a time, and roll it out with a rolling pin or flatten it with your hands.
  • Place chopped apple pie filling in a medium-sized bowl and add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, stir well to combine.
  • Place a spoonful of the apple cinnamon filling into the center of each circle of dough, leaving about 1⁄4 inch around the edges.
  • Grab the edges and pinch them together to make small round balls.
  • In an air fryer add a piece of parchment paper with holes, or lightly brush the basket.
  • Place half of the apple bites seam side up into the air fryer, making sure they do not touch. 9. Cook them in the air fryer on the “Bake” setting or at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip them over and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Repeat steps 7-9 until all the apple bites are golden brown.
  • Once they are all cooked, coat each apple bite in the melted butter, then toss it into the combined sugar and spice mixture. Repeat until all of the apple bites are coated.
