Red, White & Blue Trifles

An easy, delicious, and pretty red white and blue dessert for 4th of July.

Ingredients

  • 2 3.3 oz packages cheesecake, vanilla or white chocolate instant pudding
  • 3 c cold milk
  • 1 8 oz package Cool Whip
  • 1 prepared Angel Food cake cubed
  • 1 c strawberries diced
  • 1 c blueberries diced
  • 1 c raspberries

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk - whisk to combine well. Allow to set for about 5 minutes.
  • Add in the Cool Whip and fold to combine.
  • Lay out the trifle containers and use half of the Angel Food cake to create the first layer in the trifle containers.
  • Add a spoonful of the pudding mixture over the Angel Food cake.
  • Sprinkle with a few pieces of the strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
  • Repeat another layer with the Angel Food cake, followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  • Sprinkle each trifle with the remaining fruit pieces.
  • Allow the trifles to chill in the fridge for about 2 hours for the best results.

Notes

Storage: Trifles are best stored in a covered container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
