Is it just me, or does December fly by faster every year? 🎄 Between school concerts and gift wrapping, I’m always hunting for an easy way to keep my kids busy. That’s why I love this printable Christmas wreath! It’s simple, cheap, and full of holiday cheer. Plus, it’s ready in minutes.

What Is This Wreath Printable?
This free printable is a blank Christmas wreath outline with a big bow on the bottom. The design works two ways. First, kids can treat it like one of their favorite Christmas coloring pages. They color it, decorate it, cut it out, and hang it up!
Second, you can use it as a printable template. Just cut out the wreath and bow pieces. Then, trace them onto construction paper or craft foam. It comes as a PDF file, so you can print as many as you need for personal use.

Why You’ll Love This Idea ❤️
Let’s be real. The holiday season gets crazy busy, you know? This printable craft keeps little hands happy while you sip your hot cocoa in peace. ☕ It also works for kids of all ages. Younger children can color, and older kids can add fancy details. Best of all, you probably have the craft materials at home already, so it won’t cost you a thing.
Beyond that, this craft secretly builds skills too. Coloring, cutting, and gluing help with fine motor skills. Each wreath also turns out totally different, which I adore. My kids love picking their own colors and adding a personal touch. Honestly, the finished wreaths look so sweet that I save them for next year! 😂

How to Use This Printable Christmas Wreath
Making your wreath only takes a few easy steps. First, gather your art supplies and clear off the kitchen table. Then, follow along!
Step 1: Print the Template
Download the free PDF below by entering your name and email address in the dark green download box. The PDF file will be sent right to your inbox to download. I like to print it on card stock. Regular paper works too, but card stock holds up better to glue and glitter.
Step 2: Color or Trace
Next, decide how you want to use it. Kids can color the wreath with crayons, markers, or paint. Or, you can cut out the pieces and trace them onto green and red paper or foam.
Step 3: Decorate
Now comes the fun part! Add glitter glue, sequins, or stickers. After that, glue the bow to the bottom of the circular shape.
Step 4: Display
Finally, show off that masterpiece! Hang it on a window, the fridge, or even the front door. A loop of ribbon makes it easy to hang.

Fun Ways to Use Your Wreath
These wreaths add holiday joy just about anywhere. Here are a few of my favorite ideas. Pick one or try them all!
- Classroom project: Teachers can build a festive bulletin board or classroom display with every student’s wreath.
- Christmas cards: Shrink the template and glue it onto the front of handmade cards.
- Gift tags: Print mini wreaths in different sizes to top off your gift wrapping.
- Christmas tree ornaments: Cut out small wreaths and hang them on the tree.
- Party activity: Set up a craft station for your holiday party or a snowy afternoon.
- Good friends and neighbors: Have kids color a wreath for Grandma or the family next door.

Variations for Using the Printable
Want a fun twist on the classic? Try one of these creative ideas. Each one adds a little sparkle without much extra work. And why did the wreath go to school? It wanted to be more well-rounded! 😉
Tissue Paper Wreath
Crumple small squares of tissue paper. Then, glue them all over the wreath for a fluffy, 3D look. It’s a great way to work those little fingers!
Pom Pom Wreath
Glue pom poms around the wreath for a soft, bumpy texture. Use different colors for a bright, cheerful look. Little ones love squishing them, too.
Nature Wreath
Head outside and collect tiny pine cones, leaves, or twigs. Next, glue them onto the wreath for a rustic, cozy look. Add paper holly leaves and red berries to finish it off.
Candy Cane Wreath
Draw mini candy canes all over the wreath. Kids can even add a tiny Santa Claus peeking out from the bow. It’s a sweet way to mix things up.

Yes! Cut out the outline and trace it onto felt, foam, or construction paper. This makes a sturdy wreath that lasts all winter season long.
What age is this craft for?
This craft works for children of all ages. Toddlers can scribble with crayons. Meanwhile, big kids can add detailed patterns and extra sparkle.
