Start with Your Board & Liners.
Choose a large serving tray or platter. If desired, line it with parchment or tissue paper to add texture and easy clean up.
Place a small decorative bowl slightly off-center to hold loose candies.
Arrange the Mini Pies First.
Place the mini pies evenly spaced around the board.
Keep each style separate—pumpkin, pecan, Dutch apple, sweet potato, chocolate silk—so the colors contrast beautifully.
Add the Larger Cookie Elements
Build the board outward by adding your larger structural items next.
Fan a generous row of maple leaf cookies along one side of the board.
Create a gently curved border to add fullness and shape.
Stack gingersnaps in a crescent shape on the opposite side.
Overlap them slightly for height and visual rhythm.
Place the Pirouettes upright in a small bundle or stack them horizontally for a tall, textural accent.
Fill In With Mid-Sized Treats
Work inward toward the center.
Add a mound of candied pecans around the board.
Tuck in 3–5 decorated sugar cookies around the edges for pops of bright orange and yellow.
Add the Candies
Pour each candy type into small groups so the colors stay bold and intentional:
Add the Cadbury fall-colored chocolates.
Mix in some pumpkin-flavored M&M candies for extra color.
Around the Board
Scatter Reese’s Pieces, caramel candies, chocolate-covered almonds, and extra M&Ms.
Place them in small clusters so they look abundant but not messy.
Tip: Use candies to fill any visible gaps between cookies or pies.
Storage: Elements should each be stored separately. Pie and cookies should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Candies, etc can be stored at room temp for up to 1 week.
