Heaven on Earth Cake
A tasty no-bake dessert recipe using angel food cake, pudding, and cherry or strawberry pie filling.

sour cream

Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the milk, sour cream, pudding mix and almond flavoring. Whisk until combined. Set aside.
Cut up the prepared Angel Food Cake into 1-inch size cubes. Place half of them in the bottom of a 13x9 or similar sized baking dish. Set aside.
Dollop about half of the pie filling in spoonfuls over the cake pieces.
Cover with the remaining cake pieces and gently press down to create an even layer.
Spread the pudding mix evenly over the cake pieces.
Top with the cool whip and spread evenly to the edges.
Dollop the remaining pie filling over the cool whip.
Loosely cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Sprinkle with the almond pieces and serve.
Notes
Storage: Cake can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
