What Is This Christmas Bible Trivia Game?
This set includes over 50 Christmas Bible trivia questions on printable game cards. Each card has a question and the right answer, plus a Bible verse reference. That way, you can look it up in the Holy Bible together. I also added a few blank cards so you can write your own questions!
The questions cover the whole Christmas story. You’ll find cards about baby Jesus, Mary & Joseph, King Herod, and the wise men. Some cards ask for the name of the angel who visited Mary. Others cover the angel Gabriel, the shepherds, and the city of David. A few cards even dip into the Old Testament. For example, kids learn what the prophet Micah said about Bethlehem. They also discover what the prophet Isaiah said about the name Immanuel.

Why You’ll Love These Christmas Bible Trivia Questions
First, it’s a simple way to share the true meaning of Christmas. December gets busy, you know? Between Christmas trees, cookies, and school concerts, busy schedules can bury the birth of Christ. These cards bring the focus back in about ten minutes.
Plus, the questions work for kids of all ages! Some cards are super easy, like “Where was Jesus born?” Meanwhile, the harder questions will stump even the grown-ups. My kids loved catching me on a few, and they still bring it up. Also, it’s free, so you get more fun at no extra cost! 🙌

Fun Ways to Use the Printable Game Cards
These printable games fit almost anywhere during Christmas time. They make a fun game for family members, classrooms, and church groups alike. Here are a few of our favorite ideas:
- Family game night: Pop some popcorn and play after dinner. 🍿
- Christmas Eve tradition: Play right before you read the story of Jesus from Luke 2.
- Sunday school class: Teachers can use the cards as a quick review game.
- Church youth group or Bible study group: The harder cards make a fun warm-up.
- Holiday parties: Split the whole family into teams and keep score.
- Advent countdown: Read one card each day leading up to Christmas Day.

Variations to Try
Want to mix things up? Scavenger hunts are always a hit at our house! Hide the cards around the house near your nativity scenes or under the Christmas tree. Kids find a card, answer it, and then hunt for the next one.
Another idea is to play it as an open book quiz. Older kids can look up each verse in the New Testament to find the answer. As a result, they build Bible knowledge while they play. You can also reward correct answers with candy canes. Trust me, that works like a charm! 🍬
Finally, let kids write their own questions on the blank cards. You could even add a few silly ones about Santa Claus or Christmas carols for a giggle. Speaking of giggles, what do sheep say at Christmas? Fleece Navidad! 🐑

Common Questions About Christmas Bible Trivia
How many wise men visited Jesus?
The Bible doesn’t give an exact number of wise men! The Gospel of Matthew mentions three gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Because of that, many people assume there were three. One of our cards actually asks about this!
What age is this Christmas Bible quiz for?
This Christmas Bible trivia quiz works great for kids around five and up. Little ones can answer the easy cards with a little help. Meanwhile, teens and adults will enjoy the difficult questions. It really works for the whole family.
Where in the Bible is the Christmas story?
You’ll find the story of Jesus’ birth in Matthew 1–2 and Luke 1–2. Luke tells about the shepherds, the manger (a feeding trough), and the angels. Matthew covers the wise men searching for the King of the Jews. He also tells about King Herod, the king of Judea at the time.
